The High-Performance Homes program offers incentives to homebuilders who are advancing energy-efficient new home construction in Entergy Texas’ territory. Builders receive support for prioritizing high-efficiency features that save energy and help lower operating costs.
There are three separate pathways to earn incentives in the program. Homes that meet the requirements of more than one pathway will earn incentives associated with the highest tier.
Pathway 1: kWh Savings over Reference Home. The calculated difference between the as-built home and the program’s reference home as determined by approved energy modeling software.
Pathway 2: % kWh Savings over Reference Home. The calculated percentage savings of the as-built home compared to the program’s reference home as determined by approved energy modeling software.
Pathway 3: Prescriptive. Meet the minimum efficiency standard by using the prescribed measures to guarantee a minimum Tier 1 or Tier 2 incentive.

Sign up to be an ENERGY STAR partner by completing the ENERGY STAR Partnership Agreement for High Performance Homes.
